The survey represented questions related to items that students felt made a multiple instructor course successful i.e. coordination among lecturers from one subject to another ; . The survey contained ten items ranked on a Likert Scale and four open-ended questions. Results: The majority of students at all levels felt that the top items needed for success in a multiple instructor course included: sample test questions from each lecturer, coordination among lecturers from one subject to another, and learning objectives clearly stated at the beginning of each lecture. Objective: To correlate overall course performance with student perceived value of utilizing self-assessment to cultivate self-learning. Methods: Students n 191 ; enrolled in a required introductory professional course in 2003 received instruction on how to use perceptive and insightful self-assessment along with expert-assessment to drive their learning and to improve their performance on course ability outcomes Thinking and Decision-making and Self-Learning ; . Students were required to complete a formal self-assessment on assigned patient case work-ups throughout the course and received expert feedback on these. At the beginning and end of the semester, students were asked to provide reflective responses on their perceived value of the self-assessment process to improve their abilities. The end-semester reflective responses were evaluated and ranked using a 3-point Likert scale 1 not valuable, 2 neutral, 3 valuable ; to ascertain if students who valued the self-assessment process performed better in the course. Results: A total of 188 students provided a reflective response. Of these, 67% found the self-assessment process to be a valuable learning tool. These expected outcomes and tasks then became the basis for cases used in designing the P1 performance-based assessment. Faculty drafted 12 cases and corresponding performance criteria used in grading student performance. All cases were validated by a national review panel. The P1 cases were then converted into computer-based simulations for programmatic assessment at the end of the 2003 school year. All P1 students participated in the 12-case assessment in which each case centered on one abilitybased outcome. Two faculty members graded all cases. Evolutionary psychology suggests that a woman's sexual attractiveness is based on cues of reproductive potential. We compared two potential cues of body shape and weight. The conventional measure of female body shape is the waist hip ratio, which has become a major determinant of physical attractiveness.
