Cage's text score of this work consists of 147 specific sites in New York City which Cage determined by chance operations and arranged into individual groups of three locations "waltzes" ; . His musical score, originally published in Rolling Stone Magazine 6th October 1977 ; is a 44" x 64" coloured map of New York City upon which he superimposed multi-coloured triangles whose extremities indicate the various locations. Our installation is a two-hour video realisation of his work. We went to each of Cage's specified locations, set up a camera and recorded the surroundings with an automatic panning device. The length of each shot was determined by Cagian chance operations, supervised by Andrew Culver. The sequence of waltzes on the finished tape was also chance-determined. Our video is keyed to a reconstruction of Cage's original visual score, now apparently lost. This video music installation is intended as a tribute to John Cage and the city which was his home for forty years. 120'.

Continued from page 1 The terrace of the Commons is smaller than that of the Lords so it was not possible to invite as many guests as in previous years. Happily, the Lords refit is scheduled for completion early next year so the 2006 reception will be back on the terrace of the House of Lords. Exchanging the red carpet of the Lords for the green of the Commons did nothing to alter the conviviality and enjoyment. Once again, FIRA was able to offer guests the opportunity to go on tours with guides who are not only informative but witty exponents of the workings of the Palace of Westminster. FIRA chairman Ken Fullalove presented four Gold awards, three for Innovation and nine for Ergonomics Excellence. FIRA md Hayden Davies commented: "This is the ninth year that we have invited guests to the Houses of Parliament and it never fails to attract a capacity crowd. In fact, I noticed that increasingly guests use the occasion to catch up with old friends and as a networking opportunity. We are again grateful to Lord Hoyle for his sponsorship. As a peer who was formerly an MP he able to sponsor events in both Houses of Parliament which is very fortuitous for us.
The Jobseeker's Allowance Joint Claims ; Regulations 2000 are made under powers contained in the Jobseeker's Northern Ireland ; Order 1995 as amended by the Welfare Reform and Pensions Northern Ireland ; Order 1999. The Joint Claims Regulations amend the Jobseeker's Allowance Regulations Northern Ireland ; 1996. They introduce the requirement that certain couples claiming income - based jobseeker's allowance shall jointly claim the benefit and that both members of that couple comply with the conditions for entitlement to this benefit. A joint claim couple is defined as a couple living together as man and wife, with neither partner responsible for a child or young person or treated as responsible for a child or young person. Any claim made by either member of a couple for jobseeker's allowance may be treated as a claim made by both members although the couple may nominate one member to receive the payment. If there is any disagreement on nomination then the Department will decide who should be nominated. Couples are required to make a joint claim for JSA where they are childless and at least one of them is less than 25 years old. They are also required to meet the labour market conditions which are: to be available for work; to be actively seeking work ; to enter into a jobseeker's agreement and toradol.
